Jamie was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. After graduating from Berea College, he received his M Div. from United Theological Seminary.
In 2007, he was ordained into the Presbyterian Church (USA) and has served parishes in Ohio. In the winter of 2011, he began his service as the installed pastor of Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Jamie loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys hiking and gardening. Other interests include books, historical attractions, and travel. He is also an avid fan of baseball and can be found often cheering on the Salem Sox and watching his favorite sports teams – the Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Steelers (by marriage) – Here we go, Steelers, here we go.
He is married to Lori who is a writing teacher. They have one delightful son, Ben, and the rest of his family is made up of two dogs and a cat.
When asked to sum up his ministry, he says: I desire to serve God and others as I live out my faith.
He is enjoying being part of the community that call CMPC their spiritual home and prays that God will continue to guide and bless the journey of faith that they are making together.
